NAV

Over the last 5 years, Vanja Lazarova and her group “NAV” have been working on a new album with original compositions which have an authentic, modern sound, but one which is deeply rooted in the Macedonian musical tradition.

Without pretense of a false modesty, we believe that this CD named “GENOPHONIA”, testifies to a brilliantly accomplished stage on such an open path, at the junction of the authentic modern Macedonian sound with the universal and eternal. All songs on the CD are original, created by the members of the group, except track 2(traditional Macedonian song).
“NAV” are:

Vanja Lazarova Dimitrovska, a live musical legend, whose voice emanates from beyond the world, carrying a sensibility with a timeless span. She is a person who within the depths of the music of her homeland has the power to sail like no other talent. With a flawless sense for musical perfection, her every performance attains a form of a master-piece.
